This rollicking program features a little of everything, including Beethoven’s Symphony No. 1, wild romantic horn antics featuring Grand Harmonie co-founder and principal horn Yoni Kahn, a pirate-themed overture performed by the Grand Harmonie wind band, and Jacquelyn Stucker singing a most impassioned and dramatic concert aria.
This in-the-round concert experience will allow audience members to sit, stand, or roam around the venue and the musicians, breaking the fourth wall of a traditional musical setting. Each segment of the concert will include a discussion with conductor Scott Allen Jarrett and the musicians of Grand Harmonie. The cash bar will serve beverages before and throughout the concert, and audience members are encouraged to watch and interact with the musicians and other audience members. The first 40 ticket buyers who are 21+ will be treated to a complimentary glass of beverage partner Aeronaut Brewery’s “A Year with Dr. Nandu” beer—a punchy IPA brimming with centennial and mosaic hops.
