Assembly Row, a $1.5 billion development project that promises 450 homes, a theater and a retail center, announced today that they’ve added a Starbucks to their growing arsenal of new restaurants and food establishments.
Assembly Row’s Starbucks is slotted to open in May.
Of course, the online chit-chat has been mixed. One fan on Facebook writes: “I’m excited to drink coffee at Starbucks!! Plus, I am excited what Starbucks does for our property values.”
Others are more critical of the coffee chain moving into the Assembly Row development project. “We don’t need it,” comments another local. “There’s a Dunkins behind the mall and a Starbucks 30 seconds up the street at Station Landing. Blah.”
