Scout Supporter of the Day: Collin

Photos by Sasha Pedro.

Our Scout Supporter of the Day is Collin Yip (and his dogs, Moose and Munch!) Collin is the developer behind the Somernova complex in Union Square.

One of his favorite things about Scout is “the discovery of awesome food, people, art, and initiatives in the neighborhood that I would have otherwise missed without reading Scout,” he says.

He says he’s been staying sane during the stay-at-home advisory by exercising daily, and has been enjoying experimenting with cooking what he has in the fridge.

“It’s almost like a puzzle to put the pieces together to something edible,” he says. “It takes full concentration away from whatever is going on out there since I never really cooked before the quarantine. Now, I’m a self-proclaimed master chef. JK.”

Thanks for contributing to Scout and participating in #TheFrontStepsProject, Collin!
