The premier public screening of a documentary about the renowned children’s book author Joan Walsh Anglund, produced and directed by Tim Jackson.
Introduced by the film-maker with a special guest appearance and performance by the film’s composer Bertrand Laurence.

This film chronicles the life of the 93-year old Joan Walsh Anglund in her own voice accompanied by her famous illustrations and unpublished poems. She speaks about the profound tragedies in her life and her unexpected success. Her imagination has inspired generations of children and adults selling 50 million copies of books around the world and in many languages.

Tim Jackson has directed 3 feature and two documentary shorts. A still active five-decade career as drummer includes film soundtracks, recordings, tours, and live performances. He has been a union actor for 30 years most recently as Joe Kopechne in the film, Chappaquiddick.  Tim recently retired from college teaching after 20 years.
