A Poetry Reading by Somerville’s Poets Laureate
Featuring Nicole Terez Dutton, Gloria Mindock and Lloyd Schwartz
Nicole Terez Dutton served at Poet Laureate for Somerville from 2015 to 2017. She is the author of If One Of Us Should Fall (University of Pittsburgh Press, 2012). She also edits for Transition Magazine and The Baffler, and teaches in the Solstice Low Residency MFA program.
Gloria Mindock was the Poet Laureate in Somerville, MA in 2017 and 2018.
She is the founding editor of Cervena Barva Press and one of the USA editors for Levure Litteraire (France). She is the author of 5 books of poetry, most recently, I wish Francisco Franco Would Love Me (Nixes Mate Books, 2018).
Lloyd Schwartz is Somerville’s third (and current) poet laureate. He’s the Frederick S. Troy Professor of English at the University of Massachusetts Boston, the classical music critic for  NPR’s Fresh Air, and Contributing Arts Critic for WBUR’s the ARTery. Among his awards are a Pulitzer Prize and three Deems Taylor Awards for his music reviews and fellowships in poetry
from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Guggenheim Foundation.
