Hungry for Somerville’s diverse restaurant offerings? You’re in luck. The Welcome Project, which acts as an advocate for the city’s immigrant community, is serving up The Yum Card which offers a 10 percent off discount for orders of $25 or more at participating restaurants. Some of them, including Aguacate Verde, Yak and Yeti and Fasika, are Scout Somerville favs.
“In addition to enjoying the great tastes of eleven immigrant-run Somerville restaurants, your card purchase supports The Welcome Project’s adult English classes and leadership programs for youth and adults,” the site explains. The card costs $10.
