Reap the Benefits of Being Single
Gracie’s Ice Cream has a treat just for single people this Valentine’s Day: free hot fudge or a promotion to a Fluff cone. “Our ice cream is always as cold as your ex’s heart, but especially so on Valentine’s Day,” the ice cream shop promised its followers on Twitter.

Gather the Gals
ONCE Somerville has not one but two events for Valentine’s Day’s Feb. 13 sister holiday, Galentine’s Day. Option one: a 7:30 party complete with vendors (think jewelry, candles, etc.), tacos, and a photo booth. Option two: “Choose your own adventure” karaoke at 9:15, where the host gives you two song options from an artist of your choice. Both events are free.

Get a Surprise from a Not-so-secret Admirer
The Somerville Theatre wants to give you a Valentine. Available for pickup now through Feb. 14, the Valentines will include a “love note” and potentially giveaways, including movie tickets and prizes from J.P. Licks, PJ Ryan’s, Oath Pizza, Redbones, and High Energy Vintage.

Show Your Love for Your Bike
“It’s winter, and your neglected bicycle needs some love,” the Somerville Bike Kitchen writes. Show your bike how much it means to you with a tune-up workshop at 7 p.m. on Feb. 14.

Indulge in Self Care
Time to treat yourself? This workshop at Some.Yoga.Studio will include restorative yoga, meditation, and aromatherapy. Tickets for the 7 p.m. event are $30 ahead of time or $35 at the door.
