Maple Syrup Boil Down Festival

Groundwork Somerville has collected the sap; now it’s time to make syrup! This event is all ages and great for a child with a sweet tooth. You’ll get to see the sap being boiled down in real time, and later you can dip in with some pancakes. There will be music and crafts for the kiddies as well.

Mend those trousers or sew a patch onto the worn elbow of your jacket. This event is free and all ages are welcome. Savvy sewing experts will be on hand to answer questions, and sewing machines and other supplies will be available.
