Scout Supporter of the Day: Ashira

Our Scout Supporter of the Day is Ashira!

Ashira produces the email newsletter Inbound Boston, which curates news and events, and she is a writer herself.

“The best thing I did in college was writing and editing an alt-quarterly magazine, shoutout to The Fine Print, so publications like Scout have a special place in my heart,” she says. “I love learning what’s going on at the hyper-local level, reading about people who are my neighbors, and finding out ways to get involved in my community. Scout is also an important source of local reporting and events for my email newsletter.”

During the stay-at-home advisory, Ashira has gotten crafty. She’s spending a lot of time collaging and writing letters to her friends. Meanwhile, her husband is continuing to produce his podcast called Museum Archipelago.

“We are also experimenting with all of the different toppings we can put on popcorn for movie nights,” she says. “Dried dill plus sea salt is surprisingly good.”

They have also started a weekly pizza night, making the dough on Sundays and eating the homemade pizza for dinner on Mondays.

“We also have been enjoying Broadsheet coffee from home, which is a great way to start the morning,” she says.
