Scout Supporter of the Day: Jon

Our Scout Supporter of the Day is Jon!

Jon likes to read Scout to get a sense of what’s changing around him.

“In particular, I love learning about new businesses that are establishing roots in the area,” he says.

During the stay-at-home advisory, it’s been important for him to get up and get moving every once in a while.

“For me, it’s been really important to stay activewhether that’s going on a run through the neighborhood while wearing a face covering and keeping my distance from others, of course, an at-home strength workout, or a long walk with my dog, Breck,” he says.

His go-to takeout order has been Khao Soi, a Northern Thai coconut curry noodle soup, from Dakzen. He’s also upkept another ritual: “Semolina Thursdays, a tradition of going to Semolina on Thursdays after teaching at Tufts.”

Jon has also been bridging grocery shopping by going to Y-Not Variety on Willow Ave.
