Karyn Coughlin, owner of Sherman Cafe and Market (257 Washington St.), says the Union Square hot spot is currently renovating the cafe and combining the two businesses into one venue. “Right now, we’re trying to open up more space for the kitchen,” Coughlin says, adding that the renovation project should be complete in the coming months.So, the Sherman Market space is closing and moving into the cafe area for the short term. “The goal is to have more seating and to offer more prepared Sherman food on the go within the next year.”
