An event every week that begins at 6:30pm on Monday, repeating until March 27, 2017
Class Description: This class will stress the importance of becoming especially watchful in an oppressive political climate and how non-fiction filmmaking has resulted in policy changes throughout the world. Ways to document injustice around us will be explored, as will the process of becoming impromptu documentary filmmakers as an act of resistance.
About the Facilitator: Christopher Maloney is an independent filmmaker whose work has been featured on PBS and the Discovery Channel. Christopher has also taught several film classes at the Armory, ranging from Youth documentary filmmaking to adult Film Critique.
