7th Annual Dia de los Muertos Block Party at Taza Chocolate
October 28, 2017 @ 12:00 pm - 5:00 pmFree
Calling all calaveras, skulls, ghouls, goblins, and friends!!! It’s time to join us at the factory store for our favorite party of the year!! We are taking over the block outside the chocolate factory once more with food, music, and frolic for all ages!
In addition to free samples of our hot chocolate along with other stone ground goodies, we have a food and drink lineup that is going to make you want to start planning your Saturday this very minute!
We’ve got the goods from Taco Party, Tex Mex Eats, Tenoch Mexican, North East of the Border, AND Sabroso Taqueria Boston on hand to make sure you have all the tacos and tamales you can handle! Still hungry?! NOLA’s Salsa and Q’s Nuts will be on hand for all the snacking and, of course, there will be special sweet treats from Honeycomb Creamery ( we aren’t going to tell you what they’re bringing jussssstt yet, so stay tuned!)
Thirsty? We got you! Our faves Bantam Cider and Somerville Brewing – Slumbrew are at it again this year! If beer and cider are not much your thing, Repurposed Pod took the fruit that brings you chocolate and turned it into a bright, bold and naturally sweet, juice to keep you hydrated while you dance to #DJTrizlam’s mix of vintage Latin American, Cumbia, Global Bass, Dancehall & Tropical sounds all day!
Saving the best for last in this sensational line-up for the day, beginning at 12:30pm the talented students from El Sistema Somerville will help us kick off the day. At 2pm, we are honored to share that La Piñata will be returning this year for a traditional Mexican celebration of remembrance during the event!
RSVP on our Facebook event, and stay posted for more event details to come!
