Miele Album Release Show w/ Man Trouble and Boketto the Wolf @ The Burren (ALL AGES)
June 22, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm$12
Boston rock band Miele celebrates the release of their debut album, “Transience”, with an all ages rock show June 22 at The Burren, along with other female-fronted bands Man Trouble and Boketto The Wolf.
Miele is a Boston-based rock band that pulls from a diverse drawing board of art rock, psychedelia, soul, grunge, metal, alternative, and funk influences. Miele draws in unsuspecting listeners with soaring vocals, arpeggiated keyboard melodies, solid and complex drum rhythms, and startling switches between mystical melodies and grungy/funky/heavy rock.
As a unifying artistic vision for their first album, “Transience” aims to explore the passing of ephemeral experiences such as anxiety, dreams, love affairs, travel, connection, existence, and the creative process. Unusually, all of Miele’s members are employed in mental health or special education; this interest drives them to explore the intricacies of the human condition by responding through multi-layered rock compositions.
Miele has been featured in Allston Pudding, Sound of Boston, The Boston Survival Guide, Cambridge Day, and on WMFO, WAAF, WEMF, SCATV’s “Don’t Forget To Rock” Series, CCTV’s “Clinical Depression”, and SCATV’s “Duck Village Stage” Series. WBUR/NPR, The Boston Globe and Scout Cambridge also recently featured Miele in publications documenting their joint efforts to save the Cambridge music rehearsal space EMF from closure.

Baggia spent the following years playing around the Greater Boston area, building a supportive fan base and selling out popular local music venues, like the Lizard Lounge, TOAD, the Burren, Great Scott, Sally O’Brien’s & Plough and Stars (to name a few). Now she currently focuses on her two active original music projects, Man Trouble and This Bliss. Check them out below!
