When Cinco de Mayo and Taco Tuesday align you know magic will unfold and Margaritas will be drank. So get your agave distillates and your flank steaks and join our friends Cambridge School For Culinary Arts and The Boston Shaker for Scout’s first online cooking class.
“With everybody cooking at home it is certainly an opportunity for us,” says Randall Friedus, Executive Director of Operations for the Cambridge School for Culinary Arts. Friedus seems hopeful, if frazzled. Like much of the restaurant industry, the school has furloughed most of its staff and, like much of the education world, is trying to navigate the new world of online teaching.
“As people get into cooking they want to learn more,” Friedus explains. “And that gives us a little bit of hope. It may take a while but we’re hoping that we could see even more interest in cooking from all this.”
Join CSCA’s Chef Sean and Chef Jerrod tonight at 5 p.m. for our Beneift Zoom Class. Visit tinyurl.com/cincocookingclass to join.
Stay tuned for more great class from Scout!
