1. New Year’s Eve at Bow

One event, all of your favorite restaurants and watering holes from Somerville’s newest marketplace. You can expect a dance party complete with a ball drop, plus outdoor “heaters, light displays, and a dome” to offset the cold weather.

2. Dance into the New Year with Ezekiel’s Wheels Klezmer Band

Tickets: $25 in advance, $29 at the door

Looking for an activity earlier in the evening? Say goodbye to 2018 with some klezmer music. With both the “intimacy of chamber music and the intensity of a rowdy dance band,” Ezekiel’s Wheelswill light up the Burren’s back room with Jewish music.

3. AERONAUT NYE: World’s Fair 1940/3040

Aeronaut will be dipping into both the past and the future this New Year’s. Dress for either era, and get excited for a piano lounge, a balloon drop, live music, and more. Tickets include a 5-ounce special edition Brut IPA, snacks, and photos in a photo booth.

5. Rock & Bowl New Year’s Eve at Lucky Strike Somerville
