Kawaii-Me Fashion Show

Kawaii Me Boutique teamed up with local fashion designer Nill Rodrigues and architects Shu Talun and Sofia Chang to bring to the Somerville Community a one-of-a-kind fashion event. The event is going to allow the audience to experience the behind-the-scenes feel of a fashion show, complete with hairdressers, make-up artists, photographers, Kawaii Me clothing and a beautiful runway designed by Sofia, you’ll be able to enjoy an entire afternoon of fun followed by a real fashion show with unique pieces designed exclusively for the event by both the Kawaii Me Team and Nil Rodrigez.


5th Annual Shape Up Somerville Recreation 5K Road Race
10:00 am – 2:00 pm, $20 for adults, $5 for youth under age 10

Mayor Joseph A. Curtatone announced that the City’s annual Shape-Up Somerville / Somerville Recreation 5K Road Race will be held on Sunday morning, April 13th, starting and ending at the Somerville High School concourse, 93 Highland Avenue. The day will begin with a 1-mile children’s “Fun Run” at 10:30 a.m., followed by a 5K Adult Race & Walk at 11:00 a.m. Registration is open to all community members at a price of $5 for youth under age 10 and $20 for adults. Price includes a commemorative t-shirt, refreshments and a celebration immediately following the adult race.
